Rats? Is that a critter in there?
Sure is! Two large rats nicely packaged. They were in the refrigerator thawing. I fed them to my boa constrictor. The several days they were in the fridge, my wife would comment about if she was going to eat rats or something else every time she opened the door to the fridge.

I remember thawing mice for the various critters at the local Nature center way back when. I volunteered there for a summer in my youth. The resident raccoons were particulary noisy eaters…
Raccoons are also pretty obnoxious in general. They’re cut as babies, but not as adults.

I’ve had a lifetime interest in all animals, especially snakes and cats, so I’ve learned a bit about them from observations and research. I am a geographer than anded up in IT from being the one to figure out out the computer, network, database and programming needs for a growing company starting in the late 1980’s.

For good or bad, snakes generally won’t eat commercial foods.
