Between dead grass, old fence posts holding up rusting rebar, and a “ghost town” door, some of the deferred maintenance around the place is becoming more artsy than functional.
I love the texture of the peeling paint; interesting in itself but also in the way it has a past and memories I can only guess at from looking at the picture … One of my favourites I’ve seen of your photos yet.
Nothing.like a little rust and decay to make something more beautiful!!
That’s for sure. Thanks!

Thanks, Julia!
Like the first of these in particular; the contrast in textures and between light and shadow works really well. Very nice.
Thanks!
Really nice shots! The first photo’s colors are terrific!
Thanks!
Love the peeling paint, and I have always had an intrest in the beauty that can bee found in decay! your photos are great!
Thanks, Beth!
Know the feeling. Art and property maintenance don’t always go hand in hand 😉
Or when it starts looking like art, it’s time for maintenance;)
Ah hem, exactly!
