Coyote Dawn

Resa’s Wolf Tree and Venus at dawn.

When Jake and I went out for a walk at dawn, the first critters we encountered when we walked out onto the ditch bank were a couple of coyotes.

Harvest Supermoon on its way to setting.

Sandias and geese in the mist again.

Balloons on the rise

Clouds splashing over the sandias eventually brought rain. We have 2/10 of an inch so far.

We got a rainbow at sunset

Sandias were still socked in

The clouds split for a moment at sunset

Bird In Hand

Dawn

I did not see any balloons this morning. I believe it was too windy. It’s been windy all day.

How does the saying go? “A bird in the hand…”

“…is worth two in a fight?”

Tycho Kitty is lying on the floor, contemplating Jake.

German candle powered fan

Spunk Art in blue

Spunk Art unplugged? Or, perhaps, Spunk plugging his art?

Almost to the Harvest Supermoon

Sunset

Jake’s interest in the sunset tonight

Waiting For The Storm

Venus over Resa’s Wolf Tree at dawn

Corn Moon over lightpost at dawn

A wall of rain that never reached us

Lighting was getting close

Loki: “Impresive lightning, Paparazzo. Where’s the storm? Where’s the rain?”

Paparazzo: The storm and rain seems to have Petered out before it got to us.

Loki: “That Peter god, or whoever he is, needs to ‘Man Up’ and start peeing on us!”

Paparazzo: “I love your cat logic, Loki!’
