KITTEN!

Lane and Suzette brought home a new kitten yesterday. We went over to visit the sweet kitty. He’s nine weeks old and super cute. They are still thinking about a name for him.

“What’s that you say? I’m all ears!”

And snuggly

“Wait a minute! What’s that big yellow creature lying on the floor?”

“OMG! I don’t remember a dawg in the contract!”

Giving Jake “Mad Dogs!”

With those looks he could be called, “Mad Dog Murphy!”

As with all things feline, Jake paid no attention to the kitten.

Giving Jake the spiked hairdos and all those mad dogs made him dog-tired.

    • He is adorable. They are thinking about naming him Tycho after Tycho Brahe. You probably know of Tycho and his history. Thanks, Herman.

      • That’s a great name and so original to name a cat after a Danish astronomer of the Renaissance.

  1. No wonder you all are smitten with this kitten. I already am. That big dose of attitude calls for an action hero name. Or on the other paw, who had more attitude than Bugs Bunny… Or a 1930s movie gangster… So, my name vote is Bugsy. (Which covers Mr Bunny and Mr Malone.)
    Delightful photo shoot, Tim. Hugs.

    • It does have kittentude. It looks like Tycho, after Tycho Brahe, will most likely be his name. If he turns out like Spunk, they can call him Psycho Tycho. Thanks, Teagan.

  2. ♥️ Love this Tim!

thank you for capturing the little guy so well! Great name suggestions!

So glad you & Laurie got to see him. He loves you guys!

  3. Oh my! I’m having a cute attack!

Look at you cradling the little thing!

Lol, a tiny kitten can win hearts like nothing else. Puppies come close.

    Thanks Tim! Love this. xo

  4. Adorbs! I got my answer on how Jake was taking the new one – as expected, “be gone annoyance”. Wow, that kittie has some scary Mad-Dog looks, he might be a handful when he grows into those ears.
