Sassy Grackle strutting around on our way to Comfort, TX.

Walter and Willa were out of the nest tonight on a part of the tree where we could only see a little of the tops of their heads. I would have had to climb the fence to photograph them from where the Alpacas eat.
He’s handsome and he knows it. Strut your stuff, Dr. G.
Happy May, Tim. Hugs.

You’re welcome, Tim.
Great-Tailed I believe – cocky SOBirds. The great thing about them is I get to enjoy them for the month in Texas and then I get to come home and get relief from their constant squawking!
It is a great-tailed type. Cocky to the core. Thanks, Brian.
Love this! Very interesting 🙂 thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Lucy. Sorry for the late response. I found your comment in spam.

Our long tailed hoopoes look similar, and boy do they make a racket.
Grackles make a lot of noise, also. Thanks, Roberta.
