It’s a wild urban jungle around here. There’s been five murders this week, and the son of an acquaintance had his car stolen at gunpoint the other night. Crime is out of control in Albuquerque.
Albuquerque has the highest car theft rate in the country. Things are not good. The APD has been on one of the federal rehab programs, so they have to be nice to criminals, plus they lost a lot of officers to retirement and moving out of state. It doesn’t help that our courts have revolving doors. Most of the crimes are committed by repeat offenders.
