Hi Teri! I can usually get to see a doctor, it’s just not convenient anymore. I use to call my PC who retired, and could usually get in to see him the same day. I have an appointment to see a podiatrist on the 15th that I made back in the beginning of September.
That must be so hard. I hope you can find continuity of care. I hate to see the back to back adverts on US television encouraging people to claim ‘free’ devices under their insurance cover or to claim the maximum in damages for malpractice. It’s easy to understand the financial ramifications of that but I had not thought it could deter physicians from practicing.

Hi Julia. I believe a big issue here is the cost of malpractice insurance forces physicians into higher paying specialties.
In the UK, not enough doctors want to become God.
