  1. I could spend hours in that place…takes me back to the 60s and 70s when I haunted our local record shop every Saturday. I still have 33s from those days, but nothing to play them on. I really need to get rid of them. Like you, I have CDs now.

    • Hi Cathy. I have lots of CD’s but I rarely listen to CD’s anymore. I have all my music on my computer, and new music I listen to on Youtube or other streaming service, and I purchase anything I really like in digital form from iTunes or Amazon.

      • For some time, I’ve been gradually copying my old CDs to my computer, AND have been buying in the digital format. Soon, I don’t expect to be using CDs anymore. It’s a changing world.

  2. That looks like fun. My first record player was my mum’s old mono which had a valve and a heavy arm. I have my favourite records somewhere but don’t think the quality will have survived that arm being plopped down to pick out my favourite tracks. Still happy days though.

    • Thanks, Susan. You might be surprised by how those records might sound, even after the heavy arm treatment.

  3. Smiling… I have a large vinyl collection and several turntables. The trip to the record store was fab. TY, Timothy!
