They’re either shy or antisocial…I’ve never run across a turtle that doesn’t leave or hide when they think they’re spotted. Reply
Wild turtles seem to be very weary of people. The turtles at UNM’s duck pond just lay out in the sun and aren’t bothered one bit by people gawking at them. Thanks, Cathy. Reply
