Pi day? I thought it was The Ides of March. …or is that today? I can’t quite figure it out cuz of The Ides of March! But I don’t even know the history of The Ides of March, the only thing I know is the spooky quote by Shakespeare: “Beware The Ides of March.”
Anyway, fab pics and I like the music too, hadn’t heard of the band before.
Hi Genie! 3/14 is Pi day if you use the mm/dd date format. As nanamarton pointed out she was not aware of Pi day because they use dd/mm date format in France.
Today, March 15th, is the Ides of March, a day of various celebrations on the Roman Calendar. I believe Julius Caesar was assassination on March 15th, which would be the reason for Shakespeare’s quote.
Tim, I’m happy you made me discover Pi Day…
in France, yesterday was the “14/03”, so it’s not quite the same :-).
next year, I’ll cook a pie!
Hi Nana! That’s the problem with how we assign dates differently. I’ll give you early warning next year.
Pi in the sky.
Loved your sunset and Billy Nomo’s as well! Off to check out his blog and his you tube videos! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Nancy. Enjoy the videos.
