After the rain and now colder weather falling upon us, the zipper spider was trying to make a last stand in the remains of her tattered web. A lizard tried sunning itself on a fallen leaf in the cold morning sun, trying to defy the cold that restricted its movement and slowed its normal darting about to a slow crawl.
Guildenstern took a break to supervise Laurie while she was clearing catnip from the roses. He had his coffee and pruners at hand, but wouldn’t lift a paw to help clear the last stands of catnip covering the roses.

Those first two photos really do look like winter cannot be far off – it’s the mood you managed to capture in each one.
Guildenstern? Well, typical cat 🙂
Were you biking down the main street of Corrales late this afternoon? I passed a biker and a couple of miles later thought, “He looked familiar. OH! Was that Tim?”
If the cyclist was wearing a Shaklee jersey it was me;• )
Ummm. . .I rarely notice things like that when I am driving. 😐 Did you make a left into Wagner’s ? 🙂
I made a left onto Dixon, just south of Wagner’s about around 4:00 pm.
Sorry I did not “recognize” you until I was several miles down the road. 😦
