Jake turns into a Werejake on Halloween

Holy Jakamole! That’s impressive! And the rest of you cats think I’m silly to be wary of Jake! I rest my kitty case.

With the rains comes the need to repair the culvert that we use to drive over the drainage ditch. I went into my one-man chain gang mode and filled in the holes caused by the rainwater ponding on the culvert. I paused to take a few photos as the sun was setting.

A Radio Shack TRS-80 Micro Computer System. Released in 1977, it’s a true tech antique. It’s amazing it still works. I had fun doing a bit of Basic programming. TRS = Tandy Radio Shack, and 80 = Z80, referring to the Zilog Z80 8-bit microprocessor the computer is built with.

Antici…pation

Sunrise

I see Jake shiver with antici…pation!

Jake loves it when Laurie makes Vanilla Gelato because he gets to lick the dash, the beater, the measuring cups, and the bowls.

Jake doesn’t get to lick the ice cream freezers because his tongue would stick to the frozen metal lining the bowls. Il paparazzo gets to scrape leftover gelato off the sides of the freezers with a plastic spoon. Yum!

Another blue and gray sunset.
