The first day we got back to Paris, a couple of guys in the apartment across the street took the opportunity of a break in the rain to make a short film on the balcony. We don’t know what they were doing, but during our two weeks in Paris, they had several of what looked like business lunches and dinners and at least one party on their balcony. Adam is leaving for boot camp next week, and will serve in the Army for the next three years. He brought is girlfriend, Marissa, with him to the photo session, and although she was reluctant to get in front of the camera, she turned out to be a delightful model. Marissa is studying mechanical engineering at UNM. Rosencrantz had to get in action, of course!
After doing the terminator yesterday, Bruski went for the Steven Seagal look today. The first photo will be Brucki’s new album cover. Now all we need to do is come up with some music.
After we finished the studio portion of our photo session, I took Nicole out to the river to do more photos on the Rio Grande with the Sandias in the background.
Cindy Lauper sang that “Girls just want to have fun” and Nicole Larson and I had a lot of fun with our photo session this weekend.
The last phase of Laurie’s hair style experiment was to put her hair up in a bun. She tried a couple of different styles of buns, and I used our mirrored wall for the background, and a single studio flash with an umbrella for the lighting. I’ve noticed that high key exposures seem to be all the rage in Laurie’s fashion magazines, so I pushed up the exposure to where the highlights are beginning to washout, which allowed me to get fairly good exposures in the mirror.
