While my car was in the shop for maintenance, Jake and I took a 3.8-mile (6.1 Km) walk down, up, and all around the Albuquerque flood diversion channel. I was surprised how much Jake liked running down and up the steep sides of the flood control channels. Whenever we came up to the top of a channel, Jake would hop onto the road and give whatever was in front of us a look of intense interest. It was like a game for Jake.

The route

Jake peed on a high-voltage transmission line pole. He thought it was electrifying.

Serious security: An electric fence behind the cyclone fence and barbed wire.

Needless to say, Jake was worn out after his big adventure.

Teagan is warning young lovers, Tim and Laurie, to escape from the sinister circus before they too become a whiter shade of pale — Teagan Riordain Genevien.

Teagan had the idea for her and me to collaborate on a Halloween-themed music video. We chose “A Whiter Shade Of Pale” by Procol Harem. Teagan produced wonderful images of herself, Laurie, and me for me to use in the video, and she sounds great, as always. Oriana and Celina like to walk Jake down to Starbucks and get him a Pupachino. Normally, not much happens other than Jake gets lots of attention from strangers, which he loves, and between all the attention, the walk, and the Pupuchinos, he is worn out. When they brought Jake back this afternoon, he was wound up.

The story goes that on the way to Starbucks, Oriana dropped Erma’s card she was to use to pay for Erma’s order. When Oriana discovered she didn’t have the card, she ran back to the office to see if she left it at the office and then started looking for it on her way back to Starbucks.

Meanwhile, Jake got excited by all the commotion about the missing card, and Oriana taking off to run back to the office and pulled himself free from Celina. Celina said that instead of running after Oriana, Jake ran around the Starbucks building and ran up to the drive-up window, presumably to order another Pupachino. Celina extracted Jake from the drive-up window and met Oriana, who had not found Erma’s card.

On the way back to the office to tell Erma they had lost her card, Jake stopped to sniff and roll, and there was the card where Jake had stopped. They ran back to Starbucks, got Erma’s order, and ordered Jake another Pupachino as a reward for finding the card. All in the day in the life of a Cosmo Dog!

Jake has become quite the Cosmo Dog. He rides in a sports car. He goes to the office and works with pretty women. He goes to Starbucks for Pupaccinos and mingles with the patrons. Today, he met a couple from England who own the balloon with the British flag.
