Dusk colors on our way to check on the owls

While it was too dark to see in the nest with the naked eye, my iPhone’s LiDAR was able to see Nora Owl in the nest giving me the eye. I assume she was feeding the owlettes that we have not seen yet.

Another 24 hours, and there is still snow on the west face of the Sandias.

Sad news! The Tangle Heart Tree took a tumble.

Snow on the mountains, dry as a bone in the valley, the Tangle Heart Tree that succumbed to the drought in 2011, has fallen over.
