Coyote Dawn

Resa’s Wolf Tree and Venus at dawn.

When Jake and I went out for a walk at dawn, the first critters we encountered when we walked out onto the ditch bank were a couple of coyotes.

Harvest Supermoon on its way to setting.

Sandias and geese in the mist again.

Balloons on the rise

Clouds splashing over the sandias eventually brought rain. We have 2/10 of an inch so far.

We got a rainbow at sunset

Sandias were still socked in

The clouds split for a moment at sunset

TRS-80

Dawn

Squadron

A Radio Shack TRS-80 Micro Computer System. Released in 1977, it’s a true tech antique. It’s amazing it still works. I had fun doing a bit of Basic programming. TRS = Tandy Radio Shack, and 80 = Z80, referring to the Zilog Z80 8-bit microprocessor the computer is built with.

Who Can You Believe?

“I didn’t do it, Spunk! No! Really! I swear! I did not sneak and eat your food!”

“Yeah! Right, Jako Dawg! You can fool that pesky, pathetic paparazzo with your puppy dog eyes, but you can’t fool me!”

“You believe me, don’t you, paparazzo?”

Ducks In The Mist

Dawn

Wet dog at dawn

Jake and I went out at daybreak to open the irrigation gate. While I was cleaning out the ditches as the water flowed in, Jake got all wet romping around in the cool early morning wetness. There was enough rain up north over the past week to raise the water level in the river enough to irrigate.

Sunflower: “Jake! You are such a silly dog!’

Ducks in the mist

After I got all the leaves out of the ditches, Jake and I went on a walk to the river and saw ducks in the mist.

More ducks in the mist

Rio Grande and Sandias at dawn

Glenda

Jake was worn out after romping around, getting all wet, and watering all the tumbleweeds on the way to and from the river.
