Jake and I went out for a walk yesterday afternoon and crossed paths the a coyote for the second day in a row. When I told Jake to sit, the coyote also sat, looking like he might like to be friends with Jake. The coyote was apprehensive, given the fact that Jake is three times larger than the coyote.
It started raining while Jake and I were on our walk. A bright rainbow came out of Shey’s tree.

Jake has become quite the Cosmo Dog. He rides in a sports car. He goes to the office and works with pretty women. He goes to Starbucks for Pupaccinos and mingles with the patrons. Today, he met a couple from England who own the balloon with the British flag.

Belafante and Jake are staying with us this week while Tristan and her clan are out of town. Belafante is already feeling at home. The cats are not happy that we will have a dog in the house for a week.
