Simple Dawn
Standing on the bank
One smells the muddy water
Rio Grande running red
Transfixed by the scene
We watched the storm rolling in
Were fools in the rain
Knee-deep in red mud
Geese forage in the shallows
Sunlight streams through clouds
Controlling Temptations
Temptations held tight
Bound with the adversary
Cats love Temptations
Loki: “I fell into a big bowl of Temptations!” I looked down down down…”

Once tempted
Followed By A Rain Shadow
Dawn
Riding on the edge
A rainbow storm on one side
Sunshine the other
Light bounces off gray
Dead trees stare at rainbow rain
Shadows cling to ground
Stop! Dead End!

Another flaming sunset
The signs say it all
