Full Moon behind clouds and Resa’s Tree

I tried to get the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet the last few nights. It should have been in the top third, just right of center, but I could only see a few stars and wormy-looking clouds.

We’ve had a lot of wind the past few days—ripply water on the Rio Grande.

Late breaking news. As Tristan was leaving tonight, she noticed “fireworks” to the north of us. The fireworks were the wind blowing the neighbor’s tree branches in the powerlines, causing them to arc. I called the fire department, and they sent three fire trucks to check it out. The wind died down by the time the fire department arrived, so they didn’t get to see the show, but they could see where the branches had been arcing on the powerlines. The power company is supposed to come out after they finish restoring a power outage and trim back the branches.

Duo Cheezo

When Glenda eats cheese, she licks as much out or more of the dish as she eats. I put the dish I use to cover the cheese in front of Glenda to catch her mess and put it back into the bowl when she’s done. Loki figured out he could eat Glenda’s spillover instead of butting in on Marble’s cheese. When Marble was finished, Silver joined Loki.

Geyser at sunrise. I turned the water on before 6:00 am this morning. When I went out to check on it, I had a geyser in one of the hoses. I spiced it after I took the photo.

Paparazzo: “Loki! I’m simply hanging up my laundry.”
Loki: “Oh? Laundry? Like in Dirty Laundry? Wait a minute. Where did it go? Are you hiding your dirty laundry?”

The USB ports went out in one of our Intel MacBook Pros. While I was at the Apple Store’s Genius Bar getting the MacBook Pro diagnosed, Laurie got a demo of the Apple Vision Pro. She said they are really cool and amazing.
