Sunrise

We met the three coyotes on the levee again this morning.

Loki: “Psst! Marble! You really don’t want to eat that cheese. Il paparazzo had his filthy paws on it, you know!”

New Cat Stairs

Lonely Dove at sunrise

I replaced the cat stairs on the wall for the cats to get to the hammocks with two sets of prefab kitty stairs. The previous stairs I built from scrap would was made of mohagany. Belafante started to perch on the kitty stairs and chew on the wood. Mohagany in poisonous, so I repaced the stairs with a nno-toxic white wood. It was much less expensive to buy prefab kitty stairs than build new stairs from scratch.

KITTEN!

Lane and Suzette brought home a new kitten yesterday. We went over to visit the sweet kitty. He’s nine weeks old and super cute. They are still thinking about a name for him.

“What’s that you say? I’m all ears!”

And snuggly

“Wait a minute! What’s that big yellow creature lying on the floor?”

“OMG! I don’t remember a dawg in the contract!”

Giving Jake “Mad Dogs!”

With those looks he could be called, “Mad Dog Murphy!”

As with all things feline, Jake paid no attention to the kitten.

Giving Jake the spiked hairdos and all those mad dogs made him dog-tired.
