This is perfect. I have xo tree with a trunk that big. I wonder how old it is. The weathers so hot everyone needs to seek the shade. Ironically the AC went on my car yesterday and I’m waiting for the bad news. 🌳 stay cool
There’s nothing quite so lovely as sitting/lying beneath the shade of a tree on a hot day:). FYI we are experiencing a mini heatwave for us….I iwll be seeking out all shady areas:)
I always cringe when I see people laying directly on the ground in the southwest – that dirt is home to some nasty insects and invertebrates – ask Benji who stepped on a fire ant mound a few years back – he still shakes when we take him out down there.
It’s an age old solution.
Cool in the shade TimKu.
Really neat shot Tim. xx
Thanks, Resa. A “decisive moment” shot as we walked by on our lunchtime walk in the heat.
It’s a neat shot, Tim. It’s journalistic and editorial at the same time.

Oh no! AC can be so expensive to repair. I hope it’s simply a blown fuse. Thanks, Holly.
I hope it nothing drastic. 💸
Ses it all
Thanks, Shey.

Stay cool. Thanks, Janet.
Nothing beats a tree’s shade …and a beautiful TimKu!
Thanks, Marina.
What a neat picture! And Timku!
I enjoyed my siestas in the AC this past week.
Thanks, Nancy.
It’s a must!
Thanks, Dale.
Also looks like the tree is watching.
Thanks, Brad.
Siesta sounds good to me!
It was working for the worker. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
And I agree, Lavina!
90 in the shade is mighty rough on a body. Hope that person has somewhere cool to go.
It’s dry here, so 90 is not too bad. We walked our lunchtime mile in 17 minutes. It was 96. We’re a lot slower in the heat. Thanks, Lavinia.
Understandable, can be a dangerous situation, too. Reminds me of summer 1990, when the temps reached 122 and people were passing out in parks. 😟
122 is hot. Thanks, Michele.
A bit, yes. You’re welcome!
I guarantee that him home with few people, Tim.
Thanks, Inchie.
So cleverly formulated. Sir. Cheers!
Oh, relief from the heat. An iconic capture, Tim.
And a nap, too. Thanks, Rebecca.
Gotta beat that heat!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You sure do. Thanks, Samantha.

You have to watch where you stand out here, that’s for sure. Thanks, Brian.
sounds about my style too! ❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
👍
Tim, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. An impromptu siesta is often the best kind.🙂
For certain. Thanks, Bruce.
That is a wise Timku for the heat
Thanks, JYP.
My friend I must ask. How was your day today?
Cooler than the guys working out in the heat. Thanks, Clay.
A siesta sounds like a great plan.
For sure. Thanks, Roberta.
My pleasure
