Hi Tim, you had a clear night! It’s fascinating to see the planets in an arc across the sky. Super photos, plus the moon’s phases are terrific, the detail is wonderful!
Thanks, Mia. Since we are at 5000 feet above sea level, we usually have clear night skies. The problem is light pollution from Albuquerque filters all but the brightest stars and planets. The other night when I was out checking to see where the irrigation water was, I was staring at the sky, when I spotted a satellite flying by. People who live out where there is less light pollution say they can see a lot of satellites flying by in the night skies.
Incredible shots Timothy, I’ve noticed planets before and always stood beneath the starts looking up in amazement ~ but never had I thought (or believe I’ve seen) the moon sharing the sky with 4 of “our” planets…very cool.
Hi Resa. Nothing special other than a professional cameras and lenses (large sensors and high quality glass). The moon phases are a composite of photos I put together in Photoshop.

You’re welcome, Tim. That’s something to see a satellite fly by. I can’t see many stars in the sky here.
Wow!
Thanks, Cindy!

Awesome moon shots there. You have the perfect skies for this type of photography.
