  1. Hi Tim, this is an amazing presentation. The poem that accompanies your photos is moving and haunting, exceptional. Can we exist without sin água y solo? ~ Mia

    • Thanks, Mia. The title was inspired by the cactus, but since it’s dry out here it went well with the other photos, as well. The title was also inspired by “Cien años de soledad” by Gabriel García Márquez (interesting book if you haven’t read it). I thought about titles like “Sin água y solidad” but that didn’t make sense or “Sin água con solidad” which makes more sense, but it doesn’t sound right; therefore, since the reference to García Márquez’s title was so obscure anyway, I used “Sin água y solo”, which makes sense.

      • You’re welcome, Tim. I like the titled that you used, I do see why you were inspired by, “Cien años de soledad”. I haven’t read it, and it does sound interesting, thank you.
