Tim,this is a beautiful series of photographs. The owls are spectacular, they really do blend in with the bark. Looks like it was a lovely walk. ~ Mia Reply
Thanks, Mia! The owls are such characters. They will sit in the trees around our property and hoot at each other all night long. So we get hooting in surround sound. I love it. Reply
You did these beautiful creatures justice, Tim…superb photographs. I have to say, though, that your post title was a little misleading. 😁 Reply
Thanks, Cathy. You listened to them hoot all night long, you would not find the title at all misleading. They are hooters and they hoot up a storm. Reply
So well camouflaged. What a treat!
Thanks, Julia!

You’re welcome. How wonderful, I’m envious.
Buon continuo di giornata Timothy 🙂
Grazie, Simona. Ci sono gufi nella tua zona?
Mi sa di no 🙂
That’s too bad. Che ne dici di altre fauna selvatiche?
🙂

Hopefully, they don’t keep you awake…
No. It’s nice to hear them when I wake up in the night.
