You know – this is particularly interesting to me – at what cost to we gain this space? AND only last summer I was thinking about this fountain and wished that it had more trees around it – we need the water feature in the blazing heat of the summer – in that concrete wasteland that is the Plaza – now they are tearing it down when they could have used that money to structurally reinforce for adding trees and soften that which was already there and desirable – at least a water feature is desirable – just not the way this one reads.
