What an extraordinary place Timothy – it looks a little to me like a castle sitting on a rocky outcrop – made me think of some of the Cathar castles on craggy hilltops here in France!
Thanks, Jane. Those were pretty much drive-by photos on the way to Mesa Verde. Laurie noted the Spanish influence with it looking like a castle. I was on the side of it that looked like a castle.
