When I went out to run one of the drip systems this afternoon, I discovered some of the crocus where blooming. Laurie went out to see the crocus and found some Siberian iris blooming as well. We got the petunia last year at the end of May and kept it indoors at night during the winter. It has bloomed continually since we got it.

I love the bright colors of the flowers and can hardly wait for spring.
Wow, this afternoon I realized my crocus are maybe 2-3mm above the ground. They are on the “cold” side of the house, but still, that tends to be warmer than where you are? Are your bulbs in a particularly warm spot?
I have *never* been able to keep petunias alive – for you to do it indoors is especially remarkable to me!
Love all the photos – makes me think spring is on its way.
The crocus are out in the sun, popping up through the mulch. We put the petunias in the sunroom at night right next to the French doors, so they stay cool. This hanging pot of petunias has been particularly hardy and persistent.
You are just better gardeners!
