We woke up to snow and wintery skies. I figured the schools would be delayed and the roads a mess, but once outside of Corrales there was no snow, and it was hardly even wet. ย The kitties had to go out first thing and leave paw prints in the snow.
-Yesterday abt 10 cm snow at minus 7, tonight a clear sky with moonlit snow on the fields, temp abt minus 15 centigrade, that is 36-15 approx 20 degrees Fahrenheit I guess ๐
-The snow also gives a lot of info about birds and wildlife visiting th e premises. Yesterday I saw the red kite named Bert again, he is visiting the neighbourhood houses and gardens here looking for opportunities. A good chance to see this beauty more close as usual ๐
I will put some food for him outside today ( old sausages, catfood ๐
-I also had a great dream, I was in a jazz bas with great music, nice ladies in black dress code and other people and all looked at me with a friendly and friendship confirming eyes…. wow ๐
We had a little snow up here (on the grass), but the roads were dry.

It’s clear and -8 C this morning. The only remnants of snow are on the north sides of the fences and buildings.

We saw what looked like a Mississippi Kite on the power line at dusk last night. It seems early for them.
