Tristan is restoring her 1980 280-Z. This is the new dashboard, center console and speakers. Laurie helped with sanding and painting parts to the steering column today.
-Biking seems to be a dangerous activity, the house maid reported hurt ribs ( not broken ) after a mtb crash …… she will be out of service for 3-6 weeks ?
Out 3-6 weeks for bruised ribs? Seems excessive to me. But I can see it would be pretty hard to do a lot of housework with bruised ribs. Bruised ribs are extremely painful. I’ve had bruised ribs from kick boxing and crashing on my bike. Although, I never missed a day of work because of bike related injuries, even after the most brutal bike crashes.
The Z will do 96 MPH easily, as will our Mazda Speed 3 (the Speed 3 is governed at 150 MPH). I got my Mazda 5 up to 130 MPH once, and I’ve also ridden 140 MPH on a motorcycle. The fastest I’ve gone on my bicycle on a descent was 70 MPH. I like going fast;-)
-I was right after all, the 280 z would easily do 96 mph on that road 😉
