Laurie caught Puck lounging under the bonsai, and Stretch was not happy after I pulled him out from behind the couch to put medicine on his ears. Rosencrantz is a master of napping and was making good use of one of the many cat beds we have laying around the house.

-My new pc ( Windows 7, july 2011) just broke down and is on the way to repair.
-I am using my old Packard Bell 2004 amd athlon with Ubuntu linux ( the Windows XP died end 2010 but that is no drama since Linux is much more stable and no virus problems š
-Cats are indeed a constant source of amusement š
I started using Linux in 1998 and haven’t had Windows on home computers since then. Been using Macs at home since OS X came out. I’ve been using Open Office instead of Microsoft Office at the office and home for over two years, and I’ve been able to use Apple’s Pages and Keynote where Open Office doesn’t work with MS Office files. I do use Windows Media Player on the Mac.
-What do you use to process your photos under Linux ? Now Gimp and Digikam are nice but not a standard like PS or Capture NX.
I used Gimp and some early image processing tools in linux for processing scanned images and graphics; however, since I was using OS X before I purchased my first digital camera, I have always processed my digital photos on a Mac using either Gimp or PS.
