Rosencrantz had already been out in the frosty, 5 degree temperature at 7:30 am, but soon came back in and found sitting on my pillow in the sunshine streaming through the blinds much more comfortable. You can see from the bent up blinds behind him that the cats like to run through the blinds to walk along and sit on the window sills.

I had long day with various legacy issues from the server upgrades on Friday and an attack on our mail server from Canada that caused the sendmail to stop processing mail while it fended off the attacks until we blocked the offending IP address.  I also noticed that our servers got a lot of attention from China between Christmas and New Years.
