I am out at dusk and in the dark a lot.
It’s peaceful at night. Just you, and mysteries in the dark. 🌺🎶
Right now it’s not very peaceful with cranes cackling, geese honking, coyotes yipping and owls hooting. It’s a choral cacophony of crazy critters.
The crow picture confused me a bit with the lighting – thought it was a different feather coloring. Liked the contrail through the heart tree – arrow through my heart.
The crow confused you because it has a ring around the collar. That’s what happens when you don’t use Wisk® (do they still have those commercials?). The THT is a real character. Thanks, Brian.

It did more than good! I was driving my youngest to the metro and could see a lovely line of fabulous colours… over “there” but not in a position to get to it. Oh well!
So many times you just have to enjoy it in the moment and savor the memory.
Oh yes! It happens often that I can’t get to an optimum spot so I just marvel at what I see. 😊
It bugs too. I like to look, ponder and remember, but I’m so conditioned to photograph everything, that I feel I’m not doing my job and letting everyone down when I can’t get a great shot. It’s silly, because no one but me usually knows I missed a great shot. Although, people ask “did you get the sunset, moon, clouds, etc. last night?”
I completely understand this whole comment!! I guess we have to learn to let go 😉

I wish I had a tree like that in my yard. I have no idea what it would like like with leaves but it is stunning without. I had to give those pics a real good stare. I just love it!
