Li Dea @ https://lidea.blog/2020/10/17/liebster-award-2020/ nominated me for a Liebster Award. I thought it was very sweet of Li Dea to nominate me, but I don’t participate in awards because I am a curmudgeonly El Cheo. However, since Li Dea’s blog is in Russian, I could not resist answering her questions in Russian, Welsh, and English. How much fun is that?

  8. I picked a couple of awards along the way, just taking the graphic that was sent to me and saving it to the archives. The person who gave me the Liebster award made a graphic with a lobster in the center.

    Answer #2 – What the robot in Lost In Space would say, “Warning!”
    Answer #7 – Holiday tradition, this year, I don’t know. It’s been much too rough.
    Answer #6 – Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era). They did some very good riffs.
    Answer #3 – I don’t think there would be a song. Maybe, Iceman. Andrea would say, Cold As Ice when we were first married and I was still active duty.
    Answer #1 – Cats, horses, cookies.
    Answer #10 – Andrea knows me the best, Laurie not far behind.
    Answer #11 – 1000 ft roll of parachute cord, a folding ceramic blade knife, a case of Avon’s Skin So Soft.

      • I have not been getting blog notices for you, come to think about it. I checked and I’m getting a notice that “the author deleted this blog.” Do you have a new link?

      • Wow. I don’t know what happened. I believe since the WordPress implemented the new editor, something went wrong:( Ugh.       • Weird. I had to approve this comment. Something changed. I also can’t simply follow, I have to add my email, so we seem to have been separated in WP space.

      • I noticed, since they changed for a new “editor”, it’s getting worse

      • I just commented on your Liebster post. What a pain to figure out how to follow you again. WP is not letting me like, comment or follow from you blog site. I can only do it through the reader. I have that issue with many blog sites.

      • May be they will pay attention if people send their complains; I already did.

      • Like I told Teri at Photos by Dashfield, I’ve had several fights with WP techs about various issues, especially the issue of forcing the block editor on everyone. I’m still using the classic editor, but they are making it more difficult to get to. I have found WP staff are an arrogant bunch and don’t really seem to care much about what users like me think.

      • Go to your Admin section. Select All Posts. In the upper left-hand corner is an Add New box. Click on the triangle on the right of Add New and select Classic Editor.

        If you need to edit your post after it’s published, you need to select Classic Editor to the right of Edit under the titile of the blog in the list of posts.

        It’s getting more difficult and not obvious how to get to the classic editor.

        If you pay $300/year for a Pro account, you can add a Classic Editor plugin.
